About the Festival

The 40th Icheon Ceramics Festival is a representative ceramics cultural event held in the Icheon Ceramic Art Village and Sagimakgol area. It illuminates the history and value of Icheon, which has inherited ceramics culture encompassing tradition and modernity with high-quality clay and excellent kiln technology, and presents directions for the future of ceramics culture. Through participatory programs such as pottery wheel experience and writing wishes on large ceramics, as well as a wide range of content including traditional and modern ceramics exhibitions and sales, academic seminars, and competitions, the festival will promote the excellence of Icheon's ceramics culture both domestically and internationally and contribute to regional economic revitalization.
