The Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival is one of Korea's representative summer festivals, selected as a 2025 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cultural Tourism Designated Festival. Based on pristine water resources such as the clear waters of Tamjingang River and Jangheung Dam Lake, the diverse programs, continuing day and night, allow everyone, regardless of age or gender, to escape the summer heat and daily routine. Through business agreements and festival exchanges with the Thai Songkran Festival and the Venice Carnival Organizing Committee in Italy, the Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival is being fostered as a global festival, making it the best choice for a summer vacation.
All programs are connected under Jangheung's theme of "Water = Health, Healing."
