The 2026 Jeju Fire Festival will be held from March 9 to 14, 2026, around Saebyeol Oreum in Aewol-eup, Jeju-si. From March 9 to 12, preliminary events such as writing wish papers, making symbolic "daljip" (moon houses), and Oreum docent programs will be operated. From March 13 to 14, main events including themed performances, cultural performances, hands-on programs, eco-friendly programs, and various other programs are scheduled. The event will take place from March 9 (Mon) to March 14 (Sat), 2026. Preliminary events are from March 9 (Mon) to March 12 (Thu), and main events are from March 13 (Fri) to March 14 (Sat).
It will be held in the area of San 59-8, Saebyeol Oreum, Bongseong-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
Preliminary events (Mar 9-12): Writing and hanging wish papers, making symbolic "daljip" (moon houses) together, Oreum docent program. Main events (Mar 13-14): On Opening Day (Mar 13), lighting the flame of hope, rising light of hope, official opening ceremony, enshrining the flame of hope, opening declaration, burning the wish "daljip", opening celebratory performance, etc. On the Day of Fire (Mar 14), the provincial Pungmul (traditional Korean folk music and dance) parade, lighting the flame of hope, delivering messages of hope, torchlight parade of hope, "daljip" ignition, setting off the fires of hope, and finale performance are scheduled.
Festival admission is free, and some programs are operated for a fee.
