The Yeongdong Dried Persimmon Festival is an event designed to promote the excellence of Yeongdong dried persimmons externally and boost sales by exhibiting, promoting, and selling forest, agricultural, and special products, including Yeongdong-gun's dried persimmons. Focusing on family tourists, it aims to be a stay-type festival by offering winter activities and warm resting places. Various event programs are operated, such as roasted chestnuts, roasted sweet potatoes, garyeotteok (stick-shaped rice cakes), and sausage grilling, a baby club utilizing a transparent dome, sales booths with traditional markets, and an introduction to Yeongdong-gun's culinary delights.

Consumer Participation Programs: Making specialty wagashi (Japanese confectionery), making dried persimmon tree cookies, making dried persimmon cupcakes 4.
