Welcoming its 28th anniversary in 2025, the Bucheon International Comics Festival is Korea's leading cultural tourism festival specializing in comics, enjoyable for anyone who loves comics. This year, under the theme "Comics and Webtoons are Open for Business," the festival expands into convergent content programs to enhance visitor satisfaction with abundant attractions, offering various experiences that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere.
It is a festival where you can experience planning and special exhibitions, on/off-line meet-and-greet programs with artists, a playground for various experiences, a secret shop to find creative goods from artists, and even an International Cosplay Championship with cosplayers from 14 countries worldwide. Main programs include comic planning and special exhibitions, etc. Side programs include the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival, artist talks and autograph sessions, animation screenings, open office, and comic busking, etc. Visitor participation programs include BICOF Playground, BICOF Secret Shop, Catch Catch Caricature, Webtoon OST Contest, comic experience booths, Amateur Cosplay Competition, and BICOF Rice Consumption Promotion Past Exam, etc. Other contents such as food trucks and comic book cafes are also provided.
