Icheon Baeksa Cornelian Cherry Flower Festival

Festival Highlights
- Cornelian cherry trees over 100 years old
- Nation's foremost cornelian cherry producing area

Baeksa-myeon, Icheon-si, is home to a cluster of cornelian cherry trees over 100 years old. Many farms at the foot of Wonjeoksan Mountain, including Songmalli, Doripri, Gyeongsan-ri, and Joeup-ri in Baeksa-myeon, cultivate cornelian cherries. Doripri, in particular, is the nation's foremost cornelian cherry producing area, with the entire village covered in cornelian cherry trees, whose yellow flowers embrace the village in early spring and red berries in autumn. Visitors can enjoy the spring in a village full of cornelian cherry blossoms welcoming the warm spring sunshine.
The festival will take place from April 3, 2026 to April 5, 2026.
The festival will be held at Icheon Cornelian Cherry Village. The address is 12, Wonjeok-ro 775beon-gil, Baeksa-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
At the main venue, performance programs such as a local singing contest, congratulatory performances, and Taekwondo or special martial arts demonstrations will be held. At the sub-venue, mini busking, photo zones, and free experience programs will take place. Consumer participation programs include various hands-on experience booths for making cornelian cherry-shaped cookies and cornelian cherry wood photos. In addition, CPR and water fire extinguisher experiences, and traditional games (traditional swing, nolttwigi (seesaw jumping), tuho (arrow throwing), etc.) are available.
Traditional foods such as cornelian cherry hangwa, cornelian cherry makgeolli, and pajeon, as well as snack bars, simple food stalls, and food trucks are planned to operate.
