Icheon Ceramics Festival

Festival Highlights
- Traditional and Modern Ceramic Culture
- Various Ceramic Experiences

The 40th Icheon Ceramics Festival is a ceramics culture event held in the area of Icheon Ceramics Art Village and Sagimakgol, Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province. Icheon has historically been a region that has continued its ceramics culture, embracing both tradition and modernity, based on high-quality clay and excellent kiln technology. This 40th festival is prepared as an opportunity to look back at the history and value of the Icheon Ceramics Festival, and to together explore the future direction of ceramics culture. During the festival, potters and visitors mingle, sharing the artistic meaning of ceramics, and experiencing the ceramics production process directly through various hands-on programs such as pottery wheel experience and writing wishes on large ceramic pieces. Furthermore, a wide range of exhibitions and sales, from traditional ceramics to modern design works, will take place, expanding the venue for cultural and artistic exchange through related programs such as academic seminars, ceramics competitions, and performances. With the active participation of local ceramists and residents, it is expected to contribute to local economic revitalization and widely promote the excellence of Icheon's ceramics culture both domestically and internationally.
