The Hansan Mosi Culture Festival is Korea's representative eco-friendly traditional fiber festival, held to widely promote the history and excellence of "Hansan Mosi Weaving," a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Held every June around the Hansan Mosi Museum in Hansan-myeon, Seocheon-gun, visitors can enjoy diverse mosi culture programs such as Hansan Mosi School, mini loom weaving experience, and Jeosanpalup Gilssam Nori (weaving play). You can experience a special time at the Hansan Mosi Culture Festival, where tradition, nature, and experience harmonize.
At the Hansan Mosi Culture Festival, you can enjoy a variety of programs. Main programs include Jeosanpalup Gilssam Nori (Weaving Play), Mosi Clothing Fashion Show, Opening/Closing Ceremonies and Wind Concert. Sub-programs include Hansan Mosi School, mini loom weaving experience, and Mosi one-day classes. Additionally, consumer participation programs such as Mosi clothing wearing experience, stamp tours, and tourism linkage programs are also available. Other offerings include a Hansan Mosi theme exhibition, night landscape lighting, and local specialty product and food stalls.
