The Uijeongbuji Permanent Traditional Culture Event is an event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to widely introduce traditional Korean culture to citizens and tourists visiting Uijeongbuji Historic Site Plaza, thereby enhancing Seoul's image as a historic city, and to provide opportunities for cultural enjoyment through traditional martial arts events that are usually difficult to experience. The event consists of the reenactment of "Yeolmu" (martial arts review) by the military forces of Samgunbu (Three Military Commands) who were stationed on Yukjo-geori (Six Ministries Street), including Uijeongbu, along with Seunggyeongdo board game experience and traditional martial arts experience.
The event will be held from April 11 (Sat) to October 31 (Sat), 2026, every Saturday (closed during peak summer heat), twice daily from 11:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00. The location is Uijeongbuji Historic Site Plaza, and the address is 45, Jong-ro 1-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul (Sejong-ro).
Main programs include Seunggyeongdo Board Game Experience, Martial Arts Review Ceremony "Yeolmu" Reenactment, and Martial Arts Experience Event.
Admission is free, and anyone visiting Uijeongbuji Historic Site Plaza can participate.
