The Gyeonggimi Gimbap Festa is a gimbap expo featuring gimbap made with Gyeonggimi rice, offering a festival experience where you can eat, see, and enjoy various activities such as a national gimbap competition, hands-on programs, exhibitions, and sales events.
The main program is the National Gyeonggimi Gimbap Competition. Food options include gimbap sales booths and K-Food street food. Gimbap experience programs like "Make Your Own Gimbap" and "Kkomagimbapjip" (Children's Gimbap Experience) are available. You can also enjoy the "Gyeonggimi Exhibition and Experience for All," which includes a Gyeonggimi exhibition and a rice paddy ecosystem exhibition on climate crisis, as well as the "Doremi Market Pop-up Exhibition" featuring agricultural and specialty products. Photo zone photo printing events and the Gimbap National Judging Panel for the gimbap competition tasting evaluation are also part of the festival.
