Children's Seonbi Festival

Festival Highlights
- Children's Seonbi culture experience
- Participatory cultural festival

The 'Children's Seonbi Festival' is a participatory cultural festival designed for children to naturally learn the value of education through play and experience, based on traditional Seonbi culture. It operates in the areas of Seonbisesang, Seonbichon, and the Korea Seonbi Cultural Training Center, offering the immersive educational program 'Today's top scholar is me!' through which children can fully experience the Seonbi spirit and traditional culture. It particularly combines experience-oriented content with play-based spaces to attract high participation from family visitors, and features enhanced immersion through the 'Gwageo-geupje' (passing the state examination) royal procession parade and Joseon-themed programs. By 2026, it plans to expand into stay-type cultural tourism content through content enhancement and strengthening of its operating system.
The main program is Children's Gwageo-geupje (passing the state examination) (Literary/Military). Experience programs include Mangtaegwigul, Dyeing experience, Tea ceremony experience, and Hanji (Korean paper) experience, with the Bangbangrye Parade as an ancillary event.
