The 'Jeju Food & Wine Festival (JFWF)', Jeju Island's representative gourmet festival, is a cultural event that promotes the value of Jeju's fresh ingredients and its culinary culture both domestically and internationally through dishes utilizing Jeju's pristine local ingredients. Celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, it will be held across Jeju from May 23 to June 13 under the keyword 'Back to the Essence'.
A variety of programs are operated, including 'Gala Dinner' where you can enjoy a 6-course fine dining pairing dinner presented by top-tier star chefs from home and abroad; 'Gourmet Week' to experience gourmet food through collaborations with chefs, celebrities, and brands centered around establishments representing Jeju's culinary scene; 'Gourmet Dinner' presented by representative Jeju establishments and star chefs focusing on Jeju pork, a key ingredient; 'Master Chef Class', a practical cooking class where you can directly experience and communicate with Gourmet Dinner chefs' recipes and cooking secrets; 'Dessert Fair' where you can enjoy Jeju's representative desserts and popular cafes in one place; 'Gourmet Symposium' that expands culinary trends into lifestyle and understands them through listening and the five senses; 'Movie Foovie', a special outdoor screening event to enjoy gourmet films against the backdrop of Sanbangsan Mountain; and 'Wine & Traditional Liquor Tasting' held at a traditional Jeju hotel with sea views, inheriting a 150-year-old fishing village's heritage.
