Festival Highlights
- Seoul's representative light festival
- Media art and culture

SEOULIGHT Gwanghwamun is Seoul's representative light festival, comprised of media art and cultural content that the public can enjoy together. The 2025 SEOULIGHT Gwanghwamun will be held under the theme <Gwanghwa, Breathe with Light>. Seoul is a city that transforms like a living organism, where the movements and stories of countless people gather. Gwanghwamun, at its heart, is a symbolic space of Seoul where history and citizens' lives have been connected for a long time, and it is also the 'starting point of light' where electricity first arrived in modern Korea, illuminating the city's nights. This light has not only brightened the darkness but also transformed people's daily lives and culture, and this flow continues to create the rhythm of the city in every corner of our lives. SEOULIGHT Gwanghwamun re-illuminates the changes in Seoul from the very spot where the first light was turned on.
Main Program: Gwanghwamun Media Facade Show (4 works) Ancillary Programs: Light sculpture works in Gwanghwamun Square's Wunsu Daetong-ro, Sejong Pavilion Media Art Participatory Programs: Ilwolobongdo Wishing Wall, Seoul's Breathing Day, Haechi Character and Jakho-do AR Programs, etc.
