ImsilN Pet Star, held in Imsil, a city growing into a pet cluster, is Korea's representative pet festival, presenting new directions for pet culture through challenging and experimental programs. This year, the festival venue has been moved to Osui-gyeon Tourism Complex, offering a special experience where pet owners and pets can mingle in a space with added symbolism and historical significance. ImsilN Pet Star is establishing itself as a platform for interaction where pets and people create a happy culture together, and an open festival where domestic and international pet owners can communicate and empathize.
Main programs include a Pet Talk Show (Mr. Lee Woong-jong, Mr. Seol Chae-hyun, Mr. Kang Hyung-wook), Pet Bom Bom Music Festival (opening celebration performance) - Ms. Son Bin-ah, Ms. Gil Ryeo-won, Ms. Kang Hye-yeon, Kassy, National Pet Fashion Show (Judges: VOS), and Choi Gap-seok Singing Contest (Mr. Enoch, Ms. Moon Hee-ok, Ms. Lee Mi-ri, Mr. So Myoung). Especially from May 2nd to 3rd, the Osui-gyeon FCI Agility Competition will be held concurrently, allowing direct viewing of international-level dog sports. Ancillary programs include the Pet Industry Expo, Righteous Pet Awards, Osu Masters Day, Dog Art Grooming Competition, Pet Olympics, Daeng Daeng School, Osui-gyeon Time Travel with Kim Kae-in, and a Flea Market. Participatory programs include pet experiences with students from national pet departments (medical experience, traditional Korean medicine experience, crafting experience, etc.). Also, on May 2nd, the "Daeng-Daeng Train" and a train tour program will operate, allowing pet owners and their dogs to travel together. Other facilities such as the Osugae Dog Promotion Hall, Pet Memorial Park Promotion Hall, Stray Dog Adoption Promotion Booth, and Local Food Market are also prepared.
The festival will be held from May 1st to May 3rd, 2026, at Osui-gyeon Park within the Osui-gyeon Tourism Complex, located at 3 Uigyeon-ro, Osu-myeon, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.
Admission is free.
