Paju Spiel 2026

Paju Spiel is an outdoor board game festival that recreates the excitement of Essen 'Spiel' in Germany, the world's largest board game festival, in Paju. Operated by Korea Boardgames, a specialized board game company, it has grown steadily since its first event in 2023, now becoming a large regional festival with 20,000 participants. This festival takes place amidst the exotic scenery of Gyeonggi Future Education Paju Campus, away from the stuffy city exhibition halls. Enjoying board games in a beautiful garden under the warm spring sun, a 'board game outing,' is the unique identity of Paju Spiel. It can be enjoyed by everyone, young and old, from board game enthusiasts to beginners and families. Celebrating its 4th anniversary, Paju Spiel 2026 has evolved beyond a simple board game festival, establishing itself as a representative spring cultural attraction where families' laughter never ceases.

Main programs include board game exhibitions and experiences, new board game releases, and edutainment tool demonstrations. Side events and programs include board game sales, science board game exhibitions, a children's board game author zone, an exhibition of award-winning board game contest entries, a Speed Cube Championship, B-Camp (a program where you can learn classic board games from experts), and an escape room game zone.
