Bogoksangol Village, where the Geumsan Bogoksangol Mountain Cherry Blossom Festival is held, is the largest natural habitat for mountain cherry blossoms in Korea. Approximately 10 million square meters of vast mountain slopes are covered with splendid mountain cherry blossoms. In addition, native plants such as dogwood, weigela, spiraea, azalea, and ginger tree also thrive here, making it a pollution-free clean area where flowers bloom in competition. Various unknown wild flowers bloom charmingly, making the path from 'Boineyo-gil' to 'Jajinbaengi-gil' a pleasant walking trail where one can enjoy conversations among the flowers.
Main programs include the Bogoksangol Treasure Certification Photo Event and the Mountain Flower Detective Trail Plogging Challenge. Sub-programs such as a small concert in the forest, a love letter on a spring day, and a forest craft exhibition are also prepared, offering various programs that allow visitors to experience the unique charm of Bogoksangol.
