The Gwangalli M(Marvelous) Drone Light Show, held since 2022 and scheduled to run until December 31, 2026, features "M" representing "Marvelous," meaning "amazing" or "wondrous." The lights emitted by the drones harmonize with the night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, a landmark of Busan, offering visitors to Gwangalli a sense of wonder and mystery.
The show is performed twice every Saturday evening (19:00 & 21:00 during winter, Oct-Feb / 20:00 & 22:00 during summer, Mar-Sep) for about 12 minutes. Various drone shows are held, ranging from weekly regular performances with 1,000 drones to special events like New Year's countdown, Lunar New Year, and Chuseok, featuring up to 2,500 drones. The performance schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
It can be viewed from anywhere along Gwangalli Beach (219 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan (Gwangandong)).
The main programs are the regular drone flight performance and special performances. Side events include the "Best Shot You Want to See Again" voting event and a proposal contest.
