The "Yeoju Heungcheon Namhangang Cherry Blossom Festival," a representative spring festival of Yeoju City, Gyeonggi-do, unfolds splendidly in the Namhangang River area, boasting natural scenic beauty. This place, affectionately known as 'Yeogang-gil' since ancient times, creates a spectacular tunnel of dazzling cherry blossoms every spring. Especially, the Guibaek-ri area of Heungcheon-myeon, the festival's central location, will operate as a 'car-free street' during the event, allowing visitors to safely and leisurely enjoy the cherry blossom ambiance. During the day, bright cherry blossom themed walking paths can be enjoyed, and at night, the 'Night Starlight Road' with subtle lighting creates the charm of romantic night cherry blossoms. Throughout the festival venue, various photo zones for capturing memorable life photos and special stage performances to enliven the festival mood will be prepared. In addition, a wide array of experience programs for the whole family, a sales area for fresh agricultural products from Yeoju, and delicious food stalls (because even Geumgangsan is best after a meal) will be operated, promising a rich spring feast that satisfies all five senses.
The Yeoju Heungcheon Namhangang Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 10 to April 12, 2026, in the area around Guibaek-ri Intersection, Heungcheon-myeon, Yeoju-si (Area of 168-3 Guibaek-ri, Heungcheon-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do).
Main programs include an opening ceremony, an opening celebration performance, and a closing celebration performance by popular singers. Subsidiary programs include a Children's Cherry Blossom Fairy Contest, a Dream and Imagination Magic Show, and a Family Singing Contest.
Consumer participation programs include a Cherry Blossom Path Life 4-Cut Photo Zone, a Flower Scent Rest Area, a Spring Touch Experience Booth, a Spring Energy Agricultural Product Booth, and a Spring Flavor Food Truck. Additionally, a children's kids zone is available.
The festival admission fee is free.
