Starting in 1995, the Jeju International Tourism Marathon Festival is Korea's first citizen-participatory marathon event open to the general public. Based on Jeju's beautiful, pristine coastline, the marathon course is designed for people of all ages, families, and couples to enjoy, making it a festival of sports for everyone.

The starting points are Gujwa Sports Park (for FULL and HALF courses) and Seongsan Ilchulgot Sports Field (for the 10km course). The main location is Gujwa Sports Park, and the address is 209 Gimnyeong-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
Participants for the FULL and HALF courses must be 18 years or older, while there is no age limit for the 10km course.
The FULL (42.195km) course costs 50,000 KRW, the HALF (21.0975km) course costs 50,000 KRW, and the Standard Course (10km) costs 40,000 KRW.
Hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and organized by Jeju Tourism Association. Certified by the Korea Athletics Federation (K.A.A.F) and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Athletics Federation (J.A.A.F). Sponsored by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Jeju and the Consulate General of Japan in Jeju.
