Festival Overview
Yangpyeong Sumi Village is a rural experience and leisure village located in clean-water Yangpyeong. It is a representative experience village in Korea, selected as a "Best Village" by ranking first in all categories of experience, accommodation, and food in the rural tourism rating evaluation. In 2013, it was awarded the Presidential Award in the "Korea Rural Village Awards," and offers green rural experiences 365 days a year. The village utilizes its agricultural products and beautiful natural environment to provide a variety of exciting seasonal programs. This winter, the Yangpyeong Ice Trout Festival will be held, focusing on smelt and trout experiences.
Main Programs
The festival grounds offer not only smelt net fishing and bare-hand trout catching, but also smelt and trout fishing spots. Hand-making pizza, steamed bun making, succulent plant crafting, and ATV rides in the open fields are also enjoyable activities. Main Programs: Smelt net fishing experience, Bare-hand trout catching experience, Smelt and trout fishing experience. Side Programs: Pizza making, Steamed bun making, ATV, Succulent plant crafting, Fruit syrup making. Other: Flea market, Winter food.
