The Gokseong World Rose Festival, held at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village, a landmark of Gokseong-gun, features 1,004 types of rare European roses and tens of thousands of seasonal flowers planted in a large 75,000㎡ rose garden, offering unique and spectacular sights. This aims to attract domestic and international tourists, thereby driving the local tourism industry and revitalizing the local economy.

A variety of programs are prepared. Resident participation programs include the Gokseong Youth Dream Orchestra and the All-Day Rose Parade. Main programs include the Romantic Rose Proposal, Rose Cinema, Rose Garden Brass Carnival, Rose Garden Busking Challenge, Moonlight Rose Classic, and World Yodel Festival.
