A unique festival to enjoy barefoot! Sunyang Soju Co., Ltd. reopens the 'Seonyang Gyejoksan Barefoot Festival' after 7 years. The 'Seonyang Gyejoksan Barefoot Festival,' which has attracted tens of thousands of visitors every year since its first step in 2006, will be grandly held for two days from May 9th to 10th in the red clay trail area of Gyejoksan Mountain. The Seonyang Gyejoksan Barefoot Festival, where you breathe with nature and walk and run barefoot on the red clay, becomes a perfect place for recharging, shaking off the stuffy daily routine and replenishing new energy. It is a festival where people of all ages, families, couples, friends, and even pets can happily enjoy 'barefoot experience zones and healing spaces' through barefoot activities. Various attractions such as a barefoot experience zone, healing zone, red clay painting, body painting, clown performances, bubble shows, and balloon shows will be featured. On May 10th, the second day of the festival, the 'Seonyang Maasai Marathon,' the highlight of the event and the world's only barefoot running competition, will be held. Named after the Maasai people who roam the African savannahs barefoot, this competition involves throwing off shoes and running on the red clay path, offering an exhilarating event to overcome one's limits. With the reopening of the festival, the 'Fun Fun Classic Forest Music Concert,' which will boost the heart rate of Gyejoksan weekends, has also been revamped. From April 11th to October 25th, for a full six months, lively stages will be held every weekend (Sat/Sun) at 2:30 PM at the Gyejoksan Red Clay Trail Forest Music Hall. The cheerful harmony resonating in the forest, breaking the rigid framework of classical music, is expected to add unforgettable weekend vitality to all three generations of families participating in the barefoot walk.
