The Nakdonggang Rapeseed Flower Complex in Namji-eup, Changnyeong-gun, is the largest single-area complex in the nation, spanning 110 hectares (approximately 330,000 pyeong). Blending with the beautiful scenery of the Nakdonggang River, it is a representative spring tourist destination reminiscent of a landscape painting. The Changnyeong Nakdonggang Rapeseed Flower Festival began in 2006 with its first edition, establishing itself as a representative festival of Changnyeong-gun, promoting the beauty of rapeseed flowers nationwide and bringing together tourists and local residents. During the festival period, various programs are operated, including an opening ceremony performance, local cultural performances, rapeseed flower orienteering, exhibitions, and hands-on activities, providing visitors with abundant sights and entertainment. In particular, the scenery where the vast rapeseed flower fields and the Nakdonggang River harmonize serves as a healing space where many tourists can enjoy the spring atmosphere.

Side programs include the Yeongsan Soemeoridaegi demonstration, art contest, and Youth Night.
